Hey there!

We're back with another digi stamp showcase! :) I spent all day today cleaning images... and last night I Copic colored some of Lia's images then scanned them and Photoshoped them... as you might have seen in yesterday's post. We decided to color in the watermarks because they look better and because of the copyright issues as well.
So now I have a LOT of images to color but our great DT is there to help :).

Anyhow... here's one of Lia's LATEST images! You can find it on Whimsy Stamps here for just 2.00$. She made it on request. Someone from Facebook asked her if she can make a male nurse :).
His name is Ajay (don't ask why- I personally named him that way... just reminded me of Indians and how they are very good in medical field..hehe).

Hello crafters!

I hope everyone is ok :). We haven't been around here for more than challenges lately...
Me and Lia are planning to go to India and take Marc with us. So a lot of thinking and planning and paperwork.

I just wanted to show you one of the images that is already up on Whimsy Stamps and you can find it here.
Her name is Adele and she is a cool bride. I like this style!!! Don't you? She looks like a supermodel.
It's kind of a "break" from all the other bridal or wedding stamps. Of course she has a better half {wink wink}... and he is up for sale also on Whimsy but we'll come back on showcasing him later.

I am back with the newest challenge! :)
I hope everyone has a SPOOKY Halloween with a lot of treats, good costumes and CANDY!

We already "celebrated" it here in Romania by baking some cupcakes last night, then we watched "Coraline" and ate popcorn... and I know that Halloween is celebrated in the night, but today we painted our faces as scary as we could (of course Lia did it for us...and when I say us: Laura, Lia and Alexandra - our cousin) and we took some photos... We had so much FUN!!!
And we made Marc's first Halloween photos also :). We had a huge pumpkin that we used!

Autumn snowman - boys digi

Hello crafters!

I am back with one fun image of Lia's. She created this for the kids magazine cover last year I believe (see how "far" I am to publishing all her images?...trying hard here).

Anyway this is a completely different style from what you've seen... that's why I love Lia's images so much! I am sure they can cover just about any taste ;).
I know most artists have a well rooted style that they use but that tends to become a bit boring ... even though you can recognize a Magnolia from 1000 miles away {well maybe not that far ;)} I still think the flexibility of Lia is what makes her the great artist that she is... and I really hope she'll succeed in finding a job soon! {she's really worrying she's not good enouguh... so some positive vibes from you guys would come in handy ;)}.

Isn't it cute? It's one of my favorites because even though Lia colored it for spring you could make it into any season! Just plain fun for all the dog lovers out there.

I am finally thrtough with the college! WOOHOO!
Now I am thinking of which masters I should follow and where.
Last night I was applying my CV to some outdoor advertising companies in Bucharest.... and one of them already contacted me for an interview today!
So I am headed to Bucharest on Monday for my first serious job interview!!!!

I am attaching some photos from my exhibition and the thesis cover ;)

Do you live from digi stamps?
As much as I'd love to, I cannot live just from the digi stamps selling so currently I am looking for a job.

Will you get your stamps turned into rubber/ photopolymer?
We're trying to. We hope that very very soon you'll be able to find your favorite stamps both in digital and rubber formats especially for the rubber lovers. :)

What's the deal with digital stamps?
Digis are easy to use, easier to store and to carry around with you everywhere you go!
They are resizable and unlike the traditional rubber stamps offer you an array of sizes to fit your project needs.
Needless to say they are cheaper!

Follow these steps to open, resize, and print a digital stamp in MS Word.
1. Open a new file in Word

2. Go to the menu bar and click INSERT, PICTURE, FROM FILE and pick the folder where your images are saved. (You can do this by drag and drop if you're more comfortable with it.)

3. Click on the image once it's in Word -- it will highlight and you can grab a corner (hold Shift down so your image doesn't distort) to resize it. You can also right click on the image and FORMAT it there. A menu will come up with many different options.

4. Once your image is sized correctly, you can PRINT! If you wish to print multiple items at one time, just repeat the steps until you have all your images on the page.

5. Depending on your printer you might have to heat-set your page with a heatgun before using Copics or watercolors. If you're using a laser print you don't have to do anyhting you can start coloring right away

NEW WITH DIGIS?
here are some suggestions to get you started:
1. make folders of your digi companies and always back them up.
2. make sure you read the terms of use before using any digis
3. some digis are free (they're called freebies) but for some you have to pay. You can buy LiaStampz digis directly from the blog, just go to the LiaStampz Stamps section and pick the stamp you like. All payments are done through Paypal.
4. You'll get a zip folder with 3 formats of the image you purchased in the e-mail you provided or the Paypal e-mail. (Please mention the names of the digis you purchased so I know which ones to send to you).
5. You'll need to "unzip" the file I send you before you can use it. If you don't have an unzip program already, you can download a free one online.
6. To print the images you can use free programs already installed on your computer, like MS Word and Paint, or get it up to the next level with Adobe Photoshop or Inkscape (you can modify everything in the last 2 even the outline colors, merge digis and so on).

Hello!
I was thinking what to make for my friend's birthday(HappyBirthday Cari!!!:D) and since her birthday is in December i thought to make a theme birthday card. The image is hand drawn by me(if i get any requests i might make some cute images like this to sell in my shop).I used some DP and two stamps that my sister received from Annika(thanks Annika!)...now i had the chance to play with stamps :P
